About David Fischer, DDS
Dr. David Fischer grew up in Wisconsin, and after shadowing his family dentist in high school, he knew he wanted to be an oral surgeon. He was always interested in science and art and felt that oral surgery was a good mix of the two. He was the first in his family to go to college, and he had several great mentors there who encouraged him to pursue oral surgery. After experiencing the many dental specialties during dental school, he felt that oral surgery was indeed a good fit. Dr. Fischer enjoys the artistry of creating a harmonized face, smile and bite for patients. He loves being able to solve patients’ problems and offers in-depth explanations to help patients feel as informed and comfortable as possible during treatment.

Dr Fischer was so kind and gentle. He explained everything. I had an amazing experience. No pain and no swelling. Healed up nicely. Would highly recommend him. He put my fears at ease and everything went great.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. The staff was great, I felt cared for and they did awesome explaining everything. I did everything they recommended during recovery and it all went smooth!

Everything went smoothly and according to plan. Everyone was very accommodating and professional. Dr.Fischer made everything easy to understand. There were no surprises. I would highly recommend Dr.Fischer.

Dr. Fischer was great! Also the staff at the Springfield office was extremely helpful and caring when I had to be seen there when there were no Decatur openings.

I highly recommend Dr. Fischer and his organization. I've had a few procedures (extractions) with this organization... All have been performed with great professionalism. And they've always worked diligently to avoid, or minimize, discomfort and pain. They follow up by phone,shory after visits.
